Craig joined the Surrey OPCC in 2016 where his work is about reducing reoffending and advising the Commissioner on all matters relating to criminal justice. In 2018, Craig led on Surrey becoming a MEAM (Making Every Adult Matter) area, an approach aimed at supporting people with multiple disadvantage. With a budget of £250K per annum, Craig funds services aimed at preventing reoffending. His main focus has been on increasing housing options for people who are homeless and involved in the criminal justice system. He also supports a number of outreach services across Surrey who work with street homeless people.
